  1. My interpretation of this quote is that it is better to learn how to write by reading writings such as novels and articles. There are so many good examples of writing in a book that I can use. It is the same thing to the second sentence as well. I can train my reading by writing. Writing efficient sentences help me understand the point or meaning of sentences when I read. Writing and reading contribute to my thinking skills. I always need to think when I write or read.
By the way, I could not be able to reply on moodle. Could you reply on moodle?

  2. I make sense of this as it goes hand-in-hand. You learn to write better by reading. Reading different types of work will give you the idea of how to write. You learn to read by writing. When you read what you ride, you have to make sure it makes sense also that there is a brief stop when you come to commas and periods. Putting the to together, you improve your ability to think. By this, when you read what you write and write what you read, you are using your head to think. Also, you comprehend things better.

Writing skill helps to read something with understanding. They are always working together and improving each other. When both of the skills are advantaged, we are able to think creatively. I am very agree with this quote. I learned so many good expressions by reading someone's writing. And I have been trying to use the good expression in my way when I write essays.

When learning both of them you can improve your thoughts clearly. Reading will help you know what to write and think better on the paragraph, article, or book. I read more than 60 books of the series when I was younger, and I believe it helped me with my way of wording out explanations and writing.
