Sunsets are really relaxing. Because I get to witness something like this in the islands, I am very fortunate to always being able to see this. I LIVE WHERE YOU VACATION :)
Christmas is my favorite time of year. I enjoy the cool breeze during the night, setting up the decorations a month before, the relaxation of Christmas break, spending time with your family, going to parties filled with delicious food, and everything else! Gifts are great too, but that's not what Christmas is really about. (I do enjoy gifts though hahaha!) Sometimes I donate money just because I feel like giving. I have always wanted to help the less fortunate and do something for them that they will never forget, but I just don't have the money or the resources to. When I graduate from college and land the job I have always wanted, I will do exactly that! But as I grow older, I noticed Christmas just doesn't feel like Christmas anymore. It's just like my birthday, I don't see it as anything special anymore. I see it as regular day except I am a year older. I am still excited for the holidays though, but it just doesn't feel the same. You just don't feel the happiness anymore like when you were younger. Hopefully that changes, maybe lower my expectations? Hahaha!
I can't wait for this Christmas though! I am always excited for Christmas and I just can't seem to wait! :)
I have always wanted to go to the Grand Canyon as one of my vacation spots because I always wanted to climb certain areas. I am fascinated by heights and how beautiful it is. I don't feel like being afraid of what might happen to me if I fell because I usually stay calm in a scary situation. The view of the whole canyon is amazing that I would just parachute while I am inside the canyon. Can't wait to visit that place one day.
Houses with lots of windows always scares me. It feels like a ghost or a doll will pop up in one of them. It doesn't help that I grew up next to an abandoned house and my cousins' and I's usual downtime activity is sharing scary stories. So for that reason, I tend to stay away from any creepy houses. The weird thing is I really enjoy watching horror movies and going through haunted houses. The thrill is amazing, but I hope not to experience seeing the real ones.
Pocahontas was one of my favorite stories I was read to as a child. I always loved how much she enjoyed nature and her respect for her elders. It somewhat reminded me of myself and my culture. Then as I grew up, I was able to do research for assignments in school based on tribes of Native Americans which is a culture I find very interesting.
