  7. Hello my fellow classmates. It has been a pleasure having you guys throughout the whole semester. You made this class really fun and easy to get through. I have my math class right before our English class so I am always in a negative mood. Thank you guys for making my negative mood into a positive mood.

Hello Dr. Rivera. I owe you the biggest of thanks for the things you have done. You made writing seem easy in the beginning and throughout the semester it became easy for me. I am now confident and ready for the transition into the next class if I am fortunate enough to make it there. With that said, I learned a lot and you are a big part in that. Thank you!

  9. Heyyyy guys, this has been a wonderful semester with all of you guys. We all worked hard to be where we are right now. With everyone learning together, we actually did grow stronger and smarter with the help of Dr. Rivera. After hearing the results, English is quite intimidating but its all good. Everyone will fail eventually and the message each and everyone of us should understand is that, we shouldn't let our failures stop us from achieving great things.

    2. EJ, there will be many downfalls in life, but you just got to get back up and face it head on. I may not know you well enough, but I can tell for a fact that you are a very reasonable and genuine person that when you set your mind to commit to something, you stick it through. Keep your head up and I guarantee that you will achieve greatness. Good luck out there and happy holidays.

  10. Hey guys, meeting everyone in class was great and I learned a bunch from everyone. I hope in the future we will meet again, although I guess we will, seeing as how we all go to the same college. Anyways, its been a great first semester at college, this experience helped me ease into the college experience rather than just throwing a bunch of work at me. It was great and I wish everyone the best in their endeavors. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Years!

  12. Hey guys. I wanted to say that it was really great to work with you all. We have really pushed ourselves to exceed more than our usual comfort zone. I want to thank Dr. Rivera for being so patient, understanding and positive. Dr. Rivera, you are one of the best English instructors that I’ve had, although it is your job, you made it more than that, you made it your passion and I saw that in you. I wanted you to know that I appreciate you and everything you did such as offering your full attention when we needed your assistance and always having a bright smile and positive attitude. As for my fellow colleagues, you guys are the epitome of an excellent learning environment and I cannot express how grateful I am within words. We may have gotten to know each other on basic levels, but I know the effort was there. I would personally say that I would have liked to connect with you all a lot more, but hopefully in due time we will. This experience was great, gosh, it’s like the beginning of the semester was just yesterday. I hope to see you all around whether it is in the hallways, parking lots or classes so don’t be afraid to acknowledge one another. Other than that, I wish you all the best of luck in your future, happy holidays and may god bless each and every one of you. -Dan

  13. hello fellow students of EN100 as the semester draws to a close i just wanna say how relieved i am that it is finally over, from the very first moment that i have entered this class my mind set was that i could just sleep in this class and still pass but i was so damn wrong. Heading to the first major essay it made me realize that you shouldn't be taking these kinds of things for granted, always be on the top of your game and push through and it will go well. To the students whom we all shared a good laugh while participating during the in class exercises each and every one of us stuck together and persevere through the whole semester this class is an awesome fun experience and i would never trade it for anything.. good luck in all your future endeavors
